Dr. Pamela Huynh earned her B.S. in Chemistry, B.A. in Business Administration, and went on to earn her Doctor of Pharmacy and her Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of Kansas (KU).
During her training at KU, she volunteered for student-run health clinic serving homeless women and children on the south side of Kansas, presented workshops to high school students on the physiological impact of alcohol and illegal drugs on organs. In 2012, she joined the Nutrition Interest Group to coordinate school-wide events to promote the field of Healthy Lifestyle. Currently, she is a board member of Inshape of Georgia-Health & Nutrition, a non-profit organization. It is a human health and nutrition center to advocate policies and programs to promote a healthy lifestyle with the aim of reducing the illnesses related diseases such as heart diseases, cancer, high blood pressure, diabetes, and obesity.
