Elizabeth R. Powell-Jackson, was born in Kingston, Jamaica and grew up in the parish of Manchester, Jamaica where she spent her formative years. She migrated to the US, to the State of Rhode Island after High School, many moons ago – which went against the migration grain of the time, and she has been going against the grain ever since. She moved to the Island of Antigua with her husband and had the pleasure of traveling, living and learning all about the Eastern Caribbean. She worked for many years in the legal field as a Paralegal in a number of major firms and corporations in the US.
Beth holds a BA degree in Business Administration and an MBA in management. She is currently a Realtor with Berkshire Hathaway, Georgia Properties and serves on a number of community organization Boards, including Atlanta International Night Market. She is the mother of one daughter and enjoys traveling, tennis, reading, working with young people and serving her community and she remains very active.
